Research Plot Technician
Research Plot Technician will assist the Plant Sciences team with implementing field trials, maintaining plot or rotational plot areas, collecting data, processing samples, and organizing seasonal work tasks.
Small plot research consists of duplicating the practices of crop production but at a much smaller scale and at the same time incorporating and evaluating a new practice or product. Conventional production methods are used but some research utilizes organic practices. A research plot technician is a person that is detailed orientated, motivated, takes pride in their work, and strives to see results. This person works hands-on with both agronomic and horticulture crops, operates, and maintains specialized equipment and works with research support staff to plant, maintain, collect data, and harvest all varieties of crops.

Casual Custodial Position
This position is located at North Central Research & Outreach Center (NCROC). This position will perform cleaning and janitorial services. This includes, but not limited to: cleaning and replenishing supplies in restrooms, offices, labs, office supply areas, kitchen, lobby, hallways and meeting rooms, etc. as needed; shoveling snow, helping with public events, and other duties as assigned.

Bell Museum Grand Rapids Education Associate
The Education Associate creates a safe, engaging, age-appropriate, and positive learning environment for campers while working with other summer camp and Research and Outreach Center (ROC) staff. This position is responsible for providing first aid, knowledge of emergency procedures, and general safety for campers. Additionally, this position will be assisting with co-facilitating educational experiences centered on environmental science, natural history, and agriculture for children entering 2nd - 6th grade. Bell statewide camps are a collaborative effort between the Bell Museum and select ROC.

Lead Educator & Coordinator
The Lead Educator and Coordinator is responsible for creating and facilitating educational experiences centered on environmental science, natural history, and agriculture for children entering 2nd - 6th grade during the Bell Museum’s statewide summer camps. This position creates a safe, engaging, age-appropriate and positive learning environment for campers while working with and being a camp team leader for summer camp and ROC staff. Bell Museum Grand Rapids Camp Coordinator
The Camp Coordinator works with summer camp and ROC staff to create a safe, engaging, age-appropriate, and positive learning environment for campers. This position is responsible for supporting communication with campers and guardians, maintaining attendance and daily camp rosters, and assisting with camp during the Bell Museum’s statewide summer camps. This position will occasionally assist the Lead Educator & Coordinator with facilitating educational experiences centered on environmental science, natural history, and agriculture for children entering 2nd - 6th grade. Bell Museum statewide camps is a collaborative effort between the Bell Museum and select University of Minnesota Research and Outreach Centers.
